The Bronx Museum



Brand Identity





The Bronx Museum of the Arts is a contemporary art museum that brings diverse audiences through its permanent collection, special exhibitions, and education programs. My goal is to create a brand identity that aligns the values of the institution with the architectural language of its physical structure. The brand's visual syntax takes its cues from the irregularly pleated aluminum facade of the Bronx Museum. The chosen typeface, GT Cinetype, also compliments the building facade.

The logo's irregular shape reflects the Bronx's dynamic communities, representing new ideas and voices of the arts it showcases and the people it welcomes.
